Trevayne qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1980 from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. The following 7 years, she worked at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire working her way up to a senior position in Orthopaedics. After having her two boys, she set up her own private practice in Hertfordshire specialising in treating Musculo-skeletal conditions and Orthopaedics.
In 1998, following a change in personal circumstances, Trevayne started exploring a new pathway of studies to help understand the impact that emotions can have on our health and wellbeing. She studied EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Emotrance and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and started successfully incorporating these into her holistically oriented physiotherapy work.
Trevayne is also proficient in the use of Alexander Barrie’s pelvic correction techniques and has trained in PRRT (Primal Reflex Release Technique) with John Iams, US physical therapist and founder of PRRT. She also offers Assemblage Point Healing after studying with Simon Heather of the College of Sound Healing.
In 2015, Trevayne relocated to Worcestershire to help support her parents in their senior years. She set up in private practice in Broadway and was then drawn to join the team at Beacon Clinic after hearing of their like-minded desire to help people holistically with their health and wellbeing.
One of Trevayne’s passions is sharing the practice and benefits of various self-help energy techniques and she runs workshops on these modalities to help empower people to heal themselves and keep their energy systems flowing effectively. She also helps individuals to explore, understand and clear the root cause of their physical issues, whether they are from an emotional, mental or spiritual block, should they choose to work at that level.
Trevayne has always had a love of dancing, from childhood days when she did ballet, to nowadays enjoying ballroom and Latin dancing. She also enjoys gardening and countryside walks in and around Worcestershire. Her other main joy is spending time with her new partner and their combined families and grandchildren.
